A 50/50 blend of Corriedale wool and mohair, Corriedale Mohair 4Ply is a characterful yarn designed for hand dyers who value texture, lightness, and expressive fabric. The Corriedale provides structure and stability, while the mohair adds visible fine fibres that lift away from the yarn, creating a light, fluffy surface texture.
This blend gives finished fabric a sense of depth and movement, where colour sits within both the wool core and the fine mohair fibres, creating a soft, dimensional effect. It takes dye well, producing rich colour with added visual softness from the mohair fibre.
In 4ply weight, it is well suited to lightweight garments, shawls, and fine accessories, offering good definition with a fluid drape. The result is a yarn with texture and life, rather than a smooth or flat finish.
Non-superwash – hand wash cool and lay flat to dry.
