A range of naturally coloured 4ply yarns made from 100% British wool, designed as a reliable and characterful base for hand dyeing.
Blended from Bluefaced Leicester and Fine Masham, it combines the smooth handle of BFL with the structure and depth of Masham, creating a balanced yarn with excellent versatility and performance.
Available in five natural shades, each developed through carefully adjusted blend ratios, the range sits together as a tonal progression, creating a natural ombré palette across the collection. Each individual hank is a natural shade, but together the five shades flow from light to deep, offering a structured gradient for design and colour planning. These tonal bases also enhance dye uptake, helping colour develop with richness and variation.
Well suited to a wide range of projects, it offers dependable stitch definition, durability, and a comfortable handle, making it ideal for garments, accessories, and textured knit designs.
Non-superwash – hand wash cool and lay flat to dry.
