Bluefaced Leicester and Masham DK

This DK weight yarn is crafted from a blend of Bluefaced Leicester and natural brown Masham fibres, carefully combined to create a distinctive marbled effect. The naturally pigmented brown Masham brings depth, warmth, and tonal variation to the blend, giving the yarn an inherent character even before dye is applied. 

When dyed, it produces a striking and complex colour effect, as the darker Masham fibres subtly show through the lighter Bluefaced Leicester base. This creates rich, layered shades with enhanced contrast, texture, and visual movement, resulting in colours that feel organic and highly dimensional. 

Equally, the yarn has a beautiful aesthetic when left undyed, with the natural brown and cream fibres blending to form a soft, heathered marl that highlights the fibre blend in its purest form.
